Beginning in October, Brickhouse Guitars will be hosting and sponsoring our very own open mic at Smile Tiger Coffee Roasters in Kitchener! They will take place on the first Friday of every month starting October 7th. Sign-ups start around 6:30 pm and performances will get going around 7 pm. All performers have a chance to win draw prizes from our store at the end of the night. Whether you are new to performing or have been doing it for years, we encourage you to step on up and share your skills.
A few rules…
There will be no use of mp3 tracks permitted during performances and no stand-up comedy. Each act will have 10 to 15 minutes to play depending on how many sign-ups we get. There is no discretion between cover or original material, vocal or instrumental. Make sure your instruments are in tune beforehand and any extra equipment is ready to go.
Smile Tiger Coffee Roasters is located at 100 Ahrens St. W. in Kitchener (just off Victoria St, between Weber St and Margaret Ave) right by the train station.

Yes, the open mic is still running the first Friday of each month. We’ve already had it for March on the 3rd, so the next open mic will be Friday April 7th starting at 7 pm. Hope to see you there!
