Brickhouse Guitars is one of a few shops in the world stocking Furch baritone acoustic guitars. These unique 6-string acoustics feature a longer scale length of 27.95 inches, thicker steel strings (0.016-0.070) and sit somewhere in the tonal range between a traditional 6-string acoustic and a bass guitar.
They are commonly played by contemporary fingerstyle guitarists. Baritones produce much lower tones than a traditional acoustic. They demand a bit more agility and strength to play properly but the rewards are certainly worth it.
