When restocking our popular Norman guitar models we usually check to see if the factory has any models with the “SF” code. “SF” stands for slight flaw and signifies that quality control caught a small visual defect like a scratch in the paint, or a small dimple in the wood.
These SF models are slightly discounted by the factory which is great news because we can pass the savings on to our customers. The structural integrity and sound quality are equally great compared to guitars without any visual flaws.
